On Friday we got a call from Jane Kim from the Wall Street Journal asking us if we would comment on our small business and the banking crisis of the last year. Although it didn’t mention our company name, both Holly and Clem (the ever vigilant company advisor) were mentioned. In the hard-copy of the paper, the story was featured on the front page! There’s another item knocked off the bucket list!

Also please note that Holly is the owner, not Clem. Maybe next time black & light co. will be mentioned!

This is the actual spotlight that we were given in Midwest Home magazine. They did SUCH a nice job and our candles look great in it!

We can’t thank Leah and Ellen from Max’s in Minneapolis (http://www.stylebymax.com) enough for mentioning us to Alyssa Ford at M. Home. They are proof positive of what happens when a feature is run on our candles and one of our local retail partners is mentioned. Its good for us and especially good for our retail partner!

We love the idea of being a ‘Best Hostess gift’! Thanks again so much to everyone for the mention!

Thank you Alicia for the nice write-up! We are always welcoming of any feedback we can get our hands on. Its be best thing a year and a two year old company can ask for (other than ridiculous amounts of sales of course!).
