Facebook us!

Monday, March 30th, 2009

All too often the newest verb to the English language pops up in conversation. Although ‘facebook,’ (as in the verbal sense – to facebook someone) hasn’t made it into Websters dictionary yet, you can be certain it is not far around the corner.

Well my friends, now you can also find black & light® on Facebook. Just like twitter and our occasional newsletter release, you can find up-to-date information on the company and occassionally special one-time offers.

So don’t be shy, ‘Facebook’ your first candle company and become a fan! Just click on the image below:

Extreme Makover Home Edition!

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

black & light® candles made it into the most recent Extreme Makover Home Edition, which transformed the Bell family house on Sunday March 22nd.

It might be hard to see in the following screen shot, but the candle that is in the new Bell home is our 6″ Black Dots candle, one of the first candles ever to be created at black & light® . It can be seen on top of the bookshelf.

BLC is now on Twitter!

Crawlies don’t have to be Creepy

We are sooo lucky….

Monday, March 16th, 2009

Last week, black & light® was featured in the Home and Garden section of the Minneapolis Star Tribune!

Many thanks to Kim Yaeger from the Star Tribune for taking the time to write about our candle line!

We would also like to take the time to thank all of our loyal customers who have supported us during these crazy economic times. We are blessed and lucky to have you! Our sales are up over 200% based on January and February numbers from last year, and we are looking forward to a very successful spring ahead – its less than a week away!

We have also partnered up with 11 new retail locations (Thanks to the Philadelphia Trade Show!), which can be found here: https://www.blackandlightco.com/#location=retail. Check to see if B&L candles can be found in your hometown!

So Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all, and stay tuned for more good news and new additions coming your way from black & light® in the coming months!
